Issue #322

From Dubois County

Happy Monday, Reader,

I could tell Gail Kemp was proud of his younger brother, Alan. We spoke briefly after the ceremony held at the Dubois Lodge in Huntingburg on Saturday.

The Masonic Lodge turned 150 this year and was rededicated as part of the celebration. There is a story in the headlines below.

But Mr. Kemp shed a single tear from his right eye as we spoke about Alan. It seemed he was immensely proud of him and his service during the Vietnam War.

So much so that he introduced Alan to the Masonic dignitaries that came to lead the rededication as a part of the closing of the ceremony.

From Dubois County with love.
