We survived the time change, Reader,

My dog can tell time twice a day. 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., or as she prefers to call it, "eatin' time".

She was trained on this time during EDT, so since November, she's been an hour ahead of my time.

How does she let me know our schedules aren't matching up? She paces. Incessantly. For an hour.

She circles from wherever we are in the house to her bowl, then back to us, then back to her bowl, then back to us.

I am pretty sure she was surprised when I picked up her food bowl at the correct time on Sunday.

I think she's got a better rhythm than we do. Or at least a better marker for time, her food bowl. It's pretty simple.

Unlike time zones and clock changes.
