Issue #272

From Dubois County

Happy Thursday, Reader,

Huntingburg Elementary School's fifth graders' production of The Jungle Book Kids is fantastic.

I went to the show this morning and caught myself stopping to watch the fast-paced production's choreography while tapping my foot and shaking my booty to the classic Disney songs several times.

Many of the kids in the audience were dancing in their seats, too.

At least until Kaa slivered around in the darkened auditorium. Then you heard gasps and whispers as the six-person team wandered the aisles, the snake's glowing eyes leading the way up to the stage.

"It looked at me," one child exclaimed.

From Dubois County with love.
