Hey Reader,

Amy showed me an image of a witch her grandmother put up every year around Halloween, like the one below.

It terrified her, she said. So much so that when she stayed overnight at her grandmother's around Halloween, she wouldn't leave her bed at night for any reason since the witch was lurking on the wall watching.

As I see some of the current Halloween decorations featuring 8-foot skeletons (where do you store those, btw), open graves with bloody zombies and other macabre items easily viewed by busloads of children, I wondered how many were terrified at home in their beds at night right now.

Maybe they are less sensitive than we were.
