Issue #335

From Dubois County

Happy Monday, Reader,

I hope everyone did well last night through the outbreak of tornadoes and storms. So far, there have been at least 11 tornadoes confirmed to have touched down in Southern Indiana and Illinois.

But it seems that the DuCoDome, as Doug Fischer likes to call it, was activated last night.

Tammy Humpert, the emergency management director, told me she only had scattered reports of trees down and maybe an electrical line down last night. The alleged tornado that was moving through Pike County lifted before entering Dubois County, and the Spencer County EMA wasn't reporting much damage there either.

On a different note, half the team here (Amy) is out of town this week to help with about 250 kids from Redemption Christian Church attending the Christ in Youth conference.

Have a great day.

I also thought this was interesting to see.
