Hey Reader,

Huntingburg decided to forego the asphalt and use concrete for the pickleball courts that have been sitting unfinished for about a year.

Mayor Neil Elkins said he was tired of talking about it, as the park board decided to have the street department do the work rather than wait for Calcar Paving to get around to it.

In another interesting development, Niehaus Park might be getting a new outdoor exercise area. Check out the story to learn more.

Also, we wrote a little story about The Next Chapter being in the running for a $5,000 grant from the Indiana Fever and Old National Bank.
