Hey Reader,

As I drove around the curve on South Meridian, the combine in the photo above was emptying a load of corn into a truck. Dust plumed around them in the golden light of the sun setting behind them. Rays of light burst through the silt clouds.

Thinking about all the moving parts of the moment I found myself in was bewildering.

The truck had to be parked where it was, the combine had to be emptying its load at the exact moment I was driving that route home, the sun had to be where it was in its annual movement north and south each day across the year, and the earth had to be exactly where it was in its rotation.

Mind-boggling.

I hope you like the photo.
