Issue #112

From Dubois County

Hey Reader,

Read any good books lately?

I picked up Matt Haig's "The Life Impossible" and have enjoyed it so far. It's a bit of an upturn from my last two reads. Both were by David Joy, whose books have very little joy in them, though they are beautifully written.

I tried reading Haig's "The Midnight Library," which everyone loved, but I couldn't get through it for some reason. I might try it again after this one.

Scott Saalman wrote a pretty good column about his Songs of Summer. It reminded me of my summer songs and how, when they play, I'm taken back to that time.

Also, we linked to a Facebook post about a story featuring Father Schipp in the Ferdinand News this week.

Check out the other headlines below.

From Dubois County with love.
