Issue #124

From Dubois County

Happy Friday Reader,

I interviewed Kelly and Ben Mathis today, and the story on their new business in Jasper is linked below.

The couple moved here as part of Ben's work with the solar project in Duff. Unfortunately, the company eliminated his job, but instead of moving on, the couple decided this is where they want to stay.

He's looking for a new job, and she's moved her business from mainly online to a new storefront in Jasper.

They love the activities, amenities, friendships, and groups they've become involved in, and they appreciate the low crime rate compared to some other areas of the country where they've lived.

We've got a lot going for us around here.

Also, the Jasper Pool is blowing away attendance records.

We will see you next week.

From Dubois County with love.

Matthew and Amy Crane
