Sara Ann Jump and Marlena Sloss both worked as photographers at The Herald. I bumped into them often, since we covered some of the same county events.

Sara Ann emailed me today to tell me about a collaborative art project they have together that combines their photography and storytelling with some special interactivity.

Earth & Paper Mail Club combines Sloss' nature photography with Jump's handmade paper art.

"I would love to share with the Dubois County community who appreciated our photography and storytelling back then, as well as anyone who simply loves nature," she said.

According to their website, this is a special six-month project that you can subscribe to and receive something handmade that celebrates our existence outside of the digital.

The project’s theme is “What can nature teach us about the human experience?”
